The Advanced Diploma in Languages and International Communication has been developed in close consultation with both higher education and employers in order to meet the academic rigour that all higher education institutions require whilst providing students with greater understanding of and experience in applying their knowledge and skills in the workplace.

Diplomas: preparing students for success in higher education
One of 17 Diplomas, the Diploma in Languages and International Communication will be delivered from 2011. Equivalent to 3.5 A Levels, the Advanced Diploma will help students to develop research and analytical skills in the target language, learn about linguistics and discourse analysis and the role of languages and communication in the globalised world.
