Bringing language learning to life

Bringing language learning to life: Students and parents

Languages can open up new horizons in your life and career. The Diploma in Languages and International Communication is being designed to help the world of languages, culture and international communications reach more young people throughout England.

The Diploma in Languages and International Communication is not being taught in schools until 2011 - but you can learn more about the Diploma now as we plan and develop this new and exciting programme. There are of course lots of ways you can currently learn languages, or encourage your children to do so. We've collected a range of links and resources which will help you find out more about languages and the qualifications and careers that are on offer. If you're not sure about whether to study a language, visit our why languages area to see what businesses and others have to say about language and cultural knowledge.
